Check-In Standards

What We Look For at Check-In

These standards apply at check-in and reconciliation. Units that do not meet them are adjusted accordingly.

Hybrid Batteries
  • Frame and chassis must be free of bending, swelling, tampering, denting, water damage, corrosion, and fire damage
  • Cells and modules must be free of bending, swelling, tampering, water damage, corrosion, and fire damage
  • ECM module must be present and undamaged; cover must be complete (25% deduction if damaged or partial)
  • Do not mix NiMH and Li-ion in storage or shipping

⚠ Li-ion batteries require special handling and shipping. Contact your Account Manager before shipping.

⚠ NiMH batteries: service plug must be intact. A broken service plug results in a $20 deduction.

*Other quality standards may apply.

Inverters
  • Free of rust, corrosion, water, and fire damage
  • Cover and housing must not be bent or dented (50% deduction)
  • ECM module must be present and undamaged; all plugs must be intact (25% deduction if damaged or missing)
